Blindness becomes a symbol of obsession and desire—those moments when emotions lead us to ignore what is obvious.

Unlike other works in the Éveil series, where the eyes play a central role in expression, here the artist deliberately removes them. This absence reflects a conscious act of denial: choosing not to look, even when the truth is present.

Cécité speaks about self-deception and emotional avoidance, capturing a moment where awareness is possible but intentionally blocked.
