Year: 2024 This abstract painting was created as an attempt to escape from personal difficulties.
The artist worked directly with her hands, using gesso to build relief and texture, focusing on the physical act of painting as a way to slow down and find calm.

The green and blue tones reflect a desire for stillness and balance. Rather than representing a place Emerald Sea represents a state of mind—a need to disconnect, similar to the impulse behind Rojo Roto, but expressed through abstraction instead of figurative form.
